Welcome to the Lane End & District Horticultural Society. We are a friendly local society of local gardeners and others based in the village of Lane End in South Buckinghamshire.

2024 Annual Show location and date:
- Location: Lane End Village Hall
- Date: Saturday 10th August 2024 from 2 pm – 4:45 pm.

- Cups and trophies awards from 4:15 pm
- Monetary prizes awarded from 4:30 pm
Exhibitor Entry forms: These are found in the Show Schedules (see below). They must be received by Thursday evening 8th August 2024 either in person at the Lane End Village Hall (between 7pm and 9pm) or enties can be made by telephoning the Secretary (Tel: 01494 881000). No entries will be accepted on the day of the show.

The Lane End & District Horticultural Society Committee

We’ve grown over the years – and not just vegetables. The Society was founded in 1891 and since then has held over 132 annual shows that have welcomed generations of local gardeners, handicraft makers and visitors.
We hold our annual show in late summer in the Lane End Village Hall. It’s open to local exhibitors and visitors from far and wide. We have a wide range of classes to enter – ranging from vegetables and flowers through to cooking, handicrafts and art. Children have their own sections which they can enter for free and their own prizes. Take a look at our Show Schedules and Entry Forms above and see if there’s anything that you or your kids would like to enter – you never know, you or they may win one of our cups or monetary prizes!
